I finally got to play a PC in DnD. Here is my drunken monk Hoptimus. Hops for short.
All Might Comic 01
I had fun doing this one. I wanted to mix Action Comics #01, the first issue of Superman, with All Might from My Hero Academia.
Smoked Out
This one was very interesting to work on. I spent some time on this but had a lot of fun doing it.
Steg Universe
Metal Sonic
Isolation
I randomly sketched this one with a ink pen at work. Something about it really spoke to me. So I started a digital version. I downloaded some new brushes to Photoshop. I was really pleased with the end result. Honestly I impressed myself.
I started to make a couple prints and frames for it! “Isolation” made me motivated to try new things and move forward with art.
Quality Quidditch Supplies Vintage Ad
The apothecary
I made this one a first page of a new sketch book. It makes me really happy every time I open it.
Tsunami, Tsu for short, is a villain character I created for D&D. She is part water elemental and unfortunately the party kind of dispatched of her quickly. What can you do.
I was really happy how her hair turned out in the digital illustration.
Draw in my style
I seen this "Draw this in your own style" challenge on Instagram. One of the artist, you can follow them @xraiink, post their character and I decided to give it a shot. I really liked this character and had fun doing this one.
Ron Weasley and his beautiful sweater
This started as an Inktober piece. I love how cute this is. I want to do the whole gang.
Tres Horny Boys
Gym Strong
So after “Isolation” I sketched out “Anger” I tend to draw whatever I am feeling and just go to town on the sketch book. I then took the sketch into Photoshop and began to use a charcoal brush.
I went for the same framing idea in “Isolation” to make it really stand out.
Marceline is by far one of my favorite characters on Adventure Time. So there is no reason why I don’t have multiple drawings of her. I feel like every year I do a new piece.
This one is my favorite so far. The original drawing started as an Inktober piece. But I wanted to revisit it in the digital format. I spent way more time on this piece than I usually do. I just wanted to get it right. If you ask me, it was worth the time. Comparing the original sketch which I did in October 2017 to the final piece I finished in May-June 2018, it is a vast improvement.
Troll Hunters was something I would see as a suggestion on Netflix and would glance at thinking this would be interesting. How was I right. I was really surprise with the characters and how they were just different for your everyday kids.
Anyways, as I was coming to the end of the series Troll Jim was revealed and I just really wanted to make a fan art piece. I played with a little back lighting. That is something I want to continue on using in future illustrations.
They hate me. What can I say. Who are they? You know who they are.
This was a quick self portrait. Trying to brand myself.
Dealing with depression blows the big one to say the least. One of the best ways I know how to deal with it is to put it down on my sketch book, and now putting it online. It is a process but I am at a point where I am feeling alright talking about it.
After I sketched this one, I took it into PS and wanted to do something new. So I didn't add any outlines. I tweaked the eye placement and tried some different shading to help out. I like how this one turned out and want to try some more like this.
This one was dome after a batch of sketches I didn't like. I little of artist block. Then out came this sketch. Something a little creepier.
As I was illustrating this one, I was starting to come up wit a backstory. I couldn't think of a name so I have been calling her Red. I like to think she is a para normal investigator. In her world the paranormal activity is on the rise. That is all I kind of got. Maybe we will see more of her in the future.
If you have read the description of "Alone" then you know my way with coping with depression. After I received some news that I was not quite ready to hear, I went into a spiral. But with some good friends and some art therapy, I was able to pull out of this spiral, realizing this "news" shouln't control me like how I was letting it.
I tried some different PS brushes than I normally use. Something a little more coarse. The coloring was quick and unfinished at places. Plus sometimes you just have to scream fuck at the top of your lungs.

I don't know what to say about this one. I was just doodling a bam. The Bod
Then I messed around in PS with some marker brushes.

Coffee bear started as a joke. My boss claimed that I drink coffee like a bear and all I could think about was an actual bear drinking coffee.

I always had a fondness for the Pokemon games. I always want to do more fan art of Pokemon. This is a quick one I did up of Geodude. Next I want to do a new version of the Pikachu that I did for Inktober.
This started as a doodle while I was bored at work. I really liked the concept and decided to illustrate it.
inktober 2018
Inktober 2018 was a blast! I did a lot of fan art and there are several I really like. I plan on taking some of them and digitally coloring them! Look forward to that.
Inktober 2017
I alway seen that Inktober was a thing. In 2017 I finally took part in it. I was not easy for me. I kept falling behind.
But by the end of the month I had a real appreciation for line work. Honestly I felt it helped me improve as an artist. I am looking forward to next Inktober.
Howl's Moving Castle is one of my favorite Studio Ghible movies and Calcifer is just great. While trying to come up with ideas for inktober, I decided to one of Calcifer. Probably a month later I was looking for something to do and I tried colorizing the inking.

Schrute
Dwight Kurt Schrute III. I love The Office and I really wanted to do an illustration of Dwight. Bears, beats, and Battlestar Galactica.

Rock Golem
Just something i whipped up. It took me a little longer to finish up, messing with the shadows and what not, but I am happy with the end result.
Mermaid
Here is a mermaid I randomly sketched. I decided to take in further and colored it. I liked that she is more muscular from swimming. Plus adding a kelp like top seemed pretty cool.
Pikachu
Here is a quick digital version of the Pikachu I did for Inktober 2017.
Head Space
This started as a simple sketch that I loved and I wanted to expand on it. I wanted to do something more like Isolation with no ink lines. I downloaded some new oil brushes for PS. I like the idea of the space in her hair and gazing into the empty sky.
Lars
i love me some Steven Universe and I wanted do something with Lars. It was pretty simple to change it over to Lar’s of the Stars version. I had to put some sass to that boy. Ha.
Stan Lee
The death of Stan Lee hit me harder than I expected. He helped created so many characters that I related too and worlds that I was able to get lost in. Thanks for everything Mr. Lee. Excelsior!
Old Doggo
This one started as a pen and paper quick sketch while I was in a long meeting. I really liked the sketch and decided to do a Photoshop color edition. I also made a quick print for my brother and it turned out great!

This one... this one was hard to post. I was in a rough head space. I was feeling down in the dumps. I grabbed a couple drinks opened up Photoshop and started messing around with brushes. I just played with different opacity and tried to stick with a gray scale theme with adding that splash of red. I like this one because it is such a departure of what I normally do.
Robbie and Dom
I did this one as a gift for my little cousins. Robbie favorite Avenger is Hawkeye and Dom favorite is Thor. They loved it so much>
Water Maiden
This one I made as a gift for my sister Nikko. I based this character off of her hair style. She wore it at a party and I was instantly inspired to do a character like it.
Big Haired Girl

This one was rejected logo design for RetinadeRina. I still loved this character and decided to color on some down time.
A fan seen my work on Instagram and commissioned me to do a water color of her danger noodle
Inktober 2020
I love taking part of Inktober. It is a great challegne for me. I love trying to do creative work and of course the fanart. Plus it is nice to get back to the basics.
Facebook ads designs made for Sandoval Buick GMC. Every month I would have to create custom and updated ads for Facebook based on that month’s incentives. Here are a sampling of them.
Here are some examples of a letterhead, mailers, and flyers I designed for multiple purposes. At Sandoval I made several flyers for services we offer or specials that we were running. While at Duet, I was tasked to design their new letter head, cards for mailing, and a flyer showing what Duet had to offer.
This a quick trifold we designed to entice customers and clients in choosing Sandoval Buick GMC’s Collision Center.
The Rule of Two Podkast is a podcast between two life long friends whose love of Star Wars and everything related to it out weighed the world. They came together to make this podcast happen. Aaron and Sean reached out to me to make their logo, art, and merchandise.
I created several designs base off of the Star Wars universe. From Star Wars inspired fonts to in-universe logos and items. They wanted to keep it a Sith like feeling.
We decided to go with a marker style look with stars peeking through the font. We liked the red light saber going through the font. But we did not want to use just any saber. So I created a custom saber for them
Aaron and Sean also wanted illustrations of them as Sith characters. I sketched up some concepts and we played around with the design. They used these images for their podcast pages.
Aaron and Sean also wanted some merchandise to pass out when the went to the Star Wars Celebration event. The t-shirt did not make it in time but we were able to create pins and business cards for them to pass out.
Along with designing the app, I was tasked with creating the logo. I tried to keep the design simplistic with the idea of this idea will keep you moving forward.
While working at Duet, I was tasked with updating Sound Vision’s logo. This is their original design.
Trying to keep the “eye” concept, I designed a simplified eye. The new logo can now be seen on their website.
I was contracted to make a logo design for a startup makeup company. With the emphasis on You be beautiful. After working with the client we narrowed down to these designs
After some fine tuning with agreed on this design for BeYouTiFull Cosmetics and BeYouTiFull Luxury Apparel & Accessories.
Fastrac was an idea for a new online buying experience. I experimented with making the text slim but seem like it is related with cars. The final product turned out with a “racing stipe” down the center, some motion lines, and an italic font conveying speed.
A friend of mine contact me to do a piece on all his pets. This was a fun illustration to work on.
King Mickey
